The Spice Selection
It begins with ingredients. Our nutmeg comes from Penang’s own Myristica fragrans — the same spice that made Penang a global trading port centuries ago. Every batch of chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and ginger powder is inspected before blending. If it doesn’t meet our standard, it doesn’t go in.
The Blend
Eight ingredients. No preservatives. No artificial flavours. No MSG. Just vinegar, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, ginger powder, nutmeg powder, sugar, and salt — blended in precise proportions that have been refined from a 1970s family recipe. The balance is everything: tangy, umami, gently spicy, with that unmistakable warm nutmeg finish.
